Question concerning P71 vs Mustang front brake setup
 

Alright.. So I keep hearing how a Cobra front brake setup is an excellent upgrade for non-Cobra Mustangs. So here's my question: An '04 P71 comes with 305x28mm front rotors, and dual-piston calipers. How does that setup compare with the aforementioned Cobra setup? TIA.

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the Panthers use hubbed rotors (as oppose to hubless)?

Nope... The rotors are separate from the hubs.

I know nothing about the break setup on the Crown vics.

If that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised if it's similar. I say buy the parts and fit it. Either the bolt holes on the spindles won't match the calipers or the spindle will need some grinding. Hope for the latter. If it's the former, get your cash back w/ eBay or Craigslist.
