Have you guys ever heard of this?

Hey. Bout a year ago I ordered a gauge cluster for my 99 gt and the company called me saying it isn't compatible with a stick shift. I found that surprising but since I don't know everything about cars I just took it. I just remembered this the other day and thought "what the hell?" I didn't think transmission type would have anything would have anything to do with a gauge OVERLAY. Its not even a replacement cluster. Am I wrong?

I have never been in an auto mustang dont they have a PRNDL indicator on the gauge cluster?

No. Just on the gear shift.

What brand was the overlay. I know that some companies build a 120 on the speedo and we have 140. That would be the only difference I could think of.

120 is for a v6. there is no reason it shouldnt have worked.
