can't decide

i haven't put any rear end gears in my 6er, or done any engine work beyond a Cold Air Intake and UDP's and new belt. so, the question is... should i sell my 'Stang for $4000-$5000 and get a Mustang GT of the same year, or should i use the bonus i am getting ($5000, taxed) and build the V6 for the 'dare to be different' value?

You should sell me ur v6 for $4000 and get a fresh start with a GT.:D

if i had the cash and didnt mind crying at the gas pump id trade my 6er for a cobra any day however if were to keep the 6er and was about to come into some money a little forced induction would keep the gt's starring at your taillights:D

i say keep the v6 and make it nasty 6er.

3.73 and a turbo.

I would go with something different, GT or Corba. "Better platform to build on"

trying to talk myself into selling it and getting a GT, because that V6 is the first 'stang i ever owned, and my second ever car put into my name.

I'd ge a 8. It has a hell of a lot more potential than the six, and by the time you fix up the 6 you could have REALLY fixed up an 8.

im sure you can find a 8.8 rear end and drop in a 5.4 liter into your current car for an affordable amount of. i dont know what you mean by "build" but my thoughts on building a car is turning it into a badass street machine that will leave C-5 and C-6 vette owners crying themselves to sleep because a mustang killed them.

horsepower for horsepower, the c5's will blow the mustang away. i remember a 420whp vette vs a 550hp cobra race. vette blew him away

unless i see it in person i aint buying it...i will tell you i got my ass handed to me buy a 2001 cobra with 4.30 gears 10 pounds of boost after 110 MPH...before that it was neck and neck with me losing ground after each shift.

if i need to elaborate most C-5/C-6 vette owners do not mod their cars but try to flex on mustangs until they realize that their cars aint shit when it comes down to your own creation.

Keep the 6er for the insurance value, and spend the bonus on getting an 8 from a junkyard and rebuild to be nasty.:t:

you would actually pay 4k for that lol?

King 08-16-2008 12:21 PM

I sold my old '99 V6 w/115k miles for $4,000. It's possible, especially if you find someone who likes the looks of the sn95s.
