Does any one know about injen CAI ?

I have a 2006 mustang GT auto and i'm looking to get a CAI. My friend told me about Injen CAI with MR technology

http://www.injen.com/docs/other/search.asp

i want your advice about it or any other best CAI like JLT or Steda

thanks for all of you for the time.

I'd tell you to get a cheaper ebay CAI. You're really going to be paying out the ass for nothing that great if you get one of those. Unless you're running 10's the perks of exspensive CAIs won't really be seen.

Two of my friends have the BBK intakes on their 07's and they love it. The BBK intake doesn't require you to reflash your computer like other intakes, so you don't need a tuner with it. On the 05's and up, the computers are so sensitve to mods that it requires you to use a hand held tuner for every little thing. Yes ebay intakes are cheaper, but for the newer stangs i don't know if you'll need to reflash or not...

Heres the link to the BBK intake: http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-2005-gt-cai.html

This is a better setup that actully makes power.

:/ No reflash? So you maybe see 8 hp?

first of all thanks for all of you for advices

Mr.Zip i think the cheeaper CAI will not be good as the expensive one, they make it expensive for reason and to give you more power and safe

SeanStang from websites i figure that all CAI requare tune but for Injen they didn't say that. BBK i think it is good and don't requare tune as the american muscle saied.

Spike Africa i check the site and it is very useful the package was great and i think thats what i want with 20-30 hp wonderful man.but i want ask you i don't have any experince with computer program is that a problem?

I think guys program is very important for my auto stang

How the hell can a CAI by itself work at optimum power without a tune? It doesn't make any sense...

Do you plan on going with a larger throttle body? If so go with the BBK or C&L because it has the a larger inlet for the throttle body. This will allow you to go to a larger throttle body and fit much better. It is best if you get a programer. They r pretty straight forward and you can get most CAI with a programer package. Try American Muscle.com or RPM outlet.com.

yeah, if a CAi for an 05+ says it doesn't require a reflash, then it's probably not doing jack squat for power.

Mr.Zip you are alright because most of the CAI i found requare a program except Injen and BBK.

chris blk mustang thanks for advice and i should get a programer since i have auto trans.

jjtgiants the BBK and Injen saied them products didn't requare programer. The dayno chart for Injen was great if you use them MR tecnology which i don't know any thing about it and i will ask them about it.
