Those w/ 4.10's

YO!!!!!!!!!!

I have a simple question..I currently have a 2002 Mustang GT 5-Speed with about 66,000 MILES. I will be having 4.10's rear gear installed. DO I NEED TO UPGRADE MY AXLES AND DIFFERENTIAL?? OR CAN I JUST USE THE STOCK DIFFERENTIAL AND AXLES???? I am only pushing about 255 HP to the Wheels....with only basic Bolt-ons..

I would rather just save the money and use my stock parts with the new 4.10 gear.

Are any of you running 4.10's with the Stock rear end?????? Hows it going???? anything break ??

You'll be fine with the stock stuff. A little over 2 yrs with mine and no probs. But, it's probally a good idea to upgrade if you plan to run the strip a lot with DRs.

If you plan on pushing more power, then it's more of a "while you're in there" kind of deal to upgrade everything. However, if it were me, I'd probably at least rebuild the diff since the clutch disks don't last too long and since you're in there, might as well do it.

You should be 100% fine with stock parts. Add a Power Adder and slicks, KABOOM! Add DR's, and you might get 1 pass, or a 1000 passes.
