one pipe sits higher than the other
 

i noticed that one of my exhaust pipes is sitting higher than the other. the one of the hangers was worn so i bought some new ones but after installing them, nothing changed. now at first i didn't care cuz i was going to put aftermarket exhaust on my mustang anyway but i about to start college and im paying for it myself (not cool) so the new system will have to wait. how can i fix this?

Your problem is not in the rubber hanger mount, its in the metal hanger attached to the pipe. Attached to the rear of the exhaust tip is a metal hanger that goes into the rubber hanger mount. This is used to hold the rear of the exhaust up. My guess is that one of those metal hangers is bent downward. All you need to do is bend it straight again or untill the pipe sits right.
