Anybody seen.....
Has anyone ever seen a carbed 302 or 347 in a 99-04 mustang? Wonder how that would work. Im assuming you would have to take out all modern electronics or whatever im just talking out of my ass right now lol

There is several companies that make a setup like this, you run an independent engine management system and crank trigger ignition.

ONLY useful if you're planning on running the car in a sanctioned class that requires a particular engine layout or displacement or even worse, power level. NASA AIX class has power limits and most mustang in that class like to run pushrod motors.
Don't do it. Use the modular. hell... use the 5.4 if you're gunna race. |
it can be done... its just a lot of work.
unless your building a full out race car, be in turning or straight line. because just so much would have to be changed, fuel tank, fuel pump, braking system, power steering, just so much stuff it would be a major pain in the ass. |
