windshield wiper delete.

im looking for a kit for it but i wanted it black. their is one on upr.com but its silver/bullitt.

spike_africa 01-21-2008 11:24 AM

Are you talking about just taking off the wiper arms? just get the silver ones etc.. and paint them black. Problem solved.

V6_Mustang_Power 01-21-2008 11:32 AM

yeah thats what im talking about. hmmm might just do that lol.

You speak the truth.

V6_Mustang_Power 01-22-2008 05:34 PM

i know and why wont i be able to drive it?

zigzagg321 01-22-2008 05:46 PM

another head scratching thread... why would you remove your wipers? does it not rain where you are? seems like stupid idea if its your only car, or your daily driver.

V6_Mustang_Power 01-22-2008 07:41 PM

oh and it wont be a daily driver. just in the summer on sunny days.

Well I guess it might be alright then but.. i don't know I mean its just that its a V6 I mean hell just drive it as much and enjoy it don't worry about keeping the miles low or only driving it on sunny days. If it were a cobra or a mach I could for sure see this because I probably wouldn't let the car know what rain or snow is haha. Know what I mean? Just enjoy your car do the mods you want but don't do mods that make it non drive able at certain times

i'll prolly keep the wipers on and i know what you mean though :). but i want it looking nice. i dont drive it in the snow and try not to in the rain. i especially hate it when they pour dirt down the backroads  or put new gravel/pebbles down(just keep kicking up and hitting windshield/etc.) lol. but yeah...

yeah dirt roads sucks haha I'm happy there are none around me. Post up some pictures of your car I don't think we have ever seen it. Also what kind of appearance mods have you done? Thats an easy way of making it stand out without removing the whippers. I have a sixer also but appearance wise I've done of course the rims/tires, exhaust, and you can really improve the front of your car with the grille delete and chin spoiler. Also window tint really makes the car stand out and can't say enough for HID's those are great. Not sure if you already have any of that done I was just throwing out ideas to catch people's eyes when you drive by.

hey, its stock right now. but i have 2,500 and next month this all of this is going in
Rear Tires/Rims(black bullitts/drag radials) (17x10.5)
Front Tires/Rims(17x9, black bullits/ drag radials)
GT Rear Bumper
MAC Catback
Smoked Headlights
Smoked Foglights
H-Pipe
chin spoiler
Grill Delete Kit
Tailight blackouts
Racing Stripes- from rallystripes.com( the ones with the 2 thick lines then the pinstripe ones on the outside)
Shorty antenna
reflective Bumper Inserts
then i have to get the hood repainted cause the hood is a lil faded.
then later down the road i'll be adding a SCT tuner and 4.10's and lowering springs, shocks, and c/c plates.

V6_Mustang_Power 01-22-2008 08:15 PM

why would you put drag radial up front? also, I would suggest you get the gears before all that dress up stuff. make the car more fun to drive. you can't look at all yer style mods while yer driving it so...

V6_Mustang_Power 01-22-2008 08:22 PM

then i'll prolly go with these http://www.americanmuscle.com/sumito...275-40-17.html

Dave04Mustang 01-22-2008 08:27 PM

looks good nice color. I would def add window tint to the list. I've got 15% on the rear window and 35% up front and I agree with Zig I would do the gears somewhere in between all of those appearance mods to at least make the car a little more fun to drive

i was looking for some window tint. where would you get it at? online? and since it'd only be around 600 i'll throw in them gears and tuner somewhere. beside i have 3-4 months to do all this. (SUMMER!!!, Cruisin time! :D ) hell i might even add in a safe nitrious system for 1,000 or save up a few grand more and buy a blower
and my mustang has been sitting in that garage for about 3weeks now lol

I got mine done professionally with a life time guarantee for about 220. I wouldn't do it yourself unless you have had experience its much more difficult than tinting the break lights.
