How to tell if you have clutch cable strech?

I have a spec stage 2 along with steeda double hook quadrant and firewall adjuster with stock OEM ford cable. All of a sudden i noticed that after doing some power shifts the clutch pedal feels very loose and sloppy but slowly firms back up after some driving. The adjuster doesn't move so its not that. Leaving me to believe its the cable, does that sound like it to anyone else?

Also it is the stock cable and it has a ton, i mean a ton of drag strip passes and powershifts etc.. I know you can stretch the stocker but i dont know if thats what im feeling or not?

probably just finally starting to give out. Replace with an OEM cable.

what exactly is a power shift?

keeping the rpm's up by keeping your foot on the gas while shifting.

losing rpm during shifts slows down the run, so don't and it goes faster. It's harder on the tranny and all components.

when mine stretched it became hard to shift. mine went after a night of beating on it hard. i started missing shifts, then it got really hard to put into gear unless the car was off.
