Gear Question!
How do you know if you have gears? I bought my GT stock..All my mods done to it are listed in my sig...Lastnight i raced a 02 GT he had intake and exhaust NOthing else. We started from a dig, When he switched to 2nd i was still in first, when he switched to 3rd i was in 2nd gear at 5500rpm...My gears seemed a little longer than the other GT! So do i have gears or is it my mods?

if you had gears than i would assume you would shift gears before they did...
put your car in the air turn your wheels (by hand) and see how many times your drive shaft turns. i dont know how to get the results but other people on here do. |

ok. He said he didnt have gears, Just an intake and exhaust!

well if u had gears you would be shifting faster than he was, it could just be a that he got the jump on you or launched higher than you

He didnt get the jump on me.....We both hooked well to!
