squeaking noise???
 

So here lately ive been hearing a squeaking noise coming from my wheels when traveling at lower speeds, It may do it at higher speeds but the magnapacks drown it out. I just changed the pads in the front so it shouldnt be my brakes. Maybe Spindles? of a bearing in the rearend? some opinions would be great.

could it be ur suspension?

Did you use brake lube on the pads and stuff? I had a similar chirping sound (just like a crickett) right after I done my brakes. It was due to not using the lube!

are your wheels mounted flush and nuts on tight? I know thatll make it squeak...

i changed my pads after i noticed the noise and that didn't help the problem. the lugs are on tight and theres no vibration going down the road

I just had the same problem... don't know if my situation applies at all to yours but:

I use quick release pins on my cobra front brake kit. That being the case they're safety wired to the caliper. Well if you wire it too tight then it pulls the cage of the quick release pin into contact with the rotor edge. I had to jack up the car and spin each wheel by hand to find it, then adjust my safety wire and pull pins and now the sound is gone.

i would suggest you spin each wheel by hand and look for dragging or squeaking. once you find it, let me know which wheel and I'll refine the possible areas of problem. If it's a rear wheel, make sure that you clocked the caliper piston correctly before installing it on to the pads. The little notches should point up and down to index with the pin spuds that come out of the back of the pads.
