2000 Hood scoop ?
 
alright i drive a 2000 and im looking into getting a hood scoop like the 01-04's and i have a question about compatability, would it fit? if so would i need to take my hood some where to get holes drilled or sometthing?

You shouldn't have to drill your hood at all. Not to mention I have a spare one sitting at the house.

then how will it attach? I removed mine and sold it on ebay for $177 and had to patch up the holes.

yep, like 5-7 holes something like that.

the studs will attach to the scoop then use the nuts, you will have to get the studs from ford if the scoop doesn't come with them.

Intalled mine with 2 holes drilled and 3M molding tape. I have no idea if I used the right fasteners, but it worked and just found them at a local hardware store.

and to drill the hole what did you guys use just a regular drill?

get a colbalt bit "Very sharp and long lasting" at Lowe's, home depot or any hardware store.

1/4" bit should do it. I never installed one, I removed mine and bondo'ed the holes.
