Yes another "Car wont start"

So my cars been actin funny lately, when i put the key in the ignition and turn it to turn on all the accesories and fuel pump etc... it works fun but as soon as id go to turn it over everything would die, itd click and just stop. So i jiggled the battery cables a lil bit and it started right up. Now it did this for about a week, but not everytime i went to start the car sometimes itd be perfect sometimes it wouldnt. I had some corrosion on the terminals so i mixed up some baking soda and water and put it on there to take off the corrosion, let it sit for about 5 min. and wiped it all off. About 20 min. later (let what ever moisture that was still there evaporate and dry) i went to start that car and all the accesories and fuel pump turn on but when i went to turn it over it just maybe a sound like what the automatic bb guns sound like at a carnival, just really fast clicks. Anyone have a clue whats wrong? maybe the starter?

I would check the positive lead to the starter... Maybe the nut that holds it is loose... Just a thought.

ditto, your not getting enough voltage to the solenoid for some reason.

Bad cable
Bad connection at starter
Bad Solenoid

I just had to crimp a new terminal end on the positive lead where it hooks to the starter on my 4.6L Truck. Was doing the same thing.

I would also check your grounds...

you know the battery doesn't have a dead cell right? if it does it'll fall under 12v and most of the car's systems won't work right. check the fuel shutoff switch too...

I would say time for a new battery. Pull it and have it tested.
