So I want to install speeda sport springs from mustang tuning and was wondering what else I would need. Like the X2 joints, caster/camber plates, bump steer kit, and/or anything else for it and if it is worth replacing all of them at once. Thanks

I havent replaced anything but the springs.If you dont go lower than 1 1/2 there isnt much need.I didnt even need a alignement after my springs were installed,the mechanic did one anyway and said very little adjustements were made. I would replace the shocks and struts if you have alot of miles on them though.

I have not installed mine yet, but I am going to also do the Steeda Sport springs. I did a lot of research before I got them. Everywhere that I read said you didn't need to replace the springs/struts because you installed springs, but with the stock ones not that great and already have wear on them it is a good idea. A lot of sits said that b/c the springs have a different spring rate the factory shocks will wear out soon anyways?? I figured while I have the car in the air and am removing stuff anyways it just makes sense.

You wont need anything extra with Steeda Sports. They don't drop the car over 1.5"...which is your limit on the stock struts. The reason myself, and other people have put fox body spec struts on is not because of different spring rates, it's because of suspension travel. You don't have to worry about bottoming out with only an inch to an inch and a quarter drop that the steedas give.

Is it still a good idea to change em out anyways though? I mean, the stock ones suck anyway, so why not?

I have had the Steeda's on for two years with no issues. I did put Tokico adjustable drag struts on but not because of the springs. You will be fine just installing the springs.

With the Steeda springs you won't need CC plates or X2 joints. However I would install struts and shocks. Also I highly recommend a good subframe connector like Maximum Motorsports get them welded in. Later on you can also get rear lower control arms as well. You can get those from MM too.

I installed my Steed sports along with the offset bushings, had it realigned after about 500 or so miles to let the springs settle in a bit. Now im getting that shimmy in my steering wheel when I press the brakes and also its a little noticable when driving. I am figuring on the rotors or a new wheel balance. Has or did anyone else notice this problem, if so what was the correct remedy?
