Those of you w/ LTs in NJ...

Do you guys exist or will I bomb inspection w/ them (even with cats)? I figure since I just passed inspection, it doesn't matter but I would like to know if I could so I can decide if I should keep the stock manifolds and H-pipe. Also, since no one makes catted H-pipes for either Hooker or Hedman headers, I will make my own so does anyone have suggestion for cats? I was thinking either the ones from Magnaflow or even the OEM 05+ cats.

I failed VA sniffer with Mac LT's, catted H, and bolt ons, not tuned. Whatever you do, dont use Mac cats. Im surprised you guys arent using OBD-II.

I just got from inspection and all they do is an OBDII computer check, no sniffer so I'm just wondering if the average guy at the inspection station will notice.

LT's are illegal there?

All they do here is odbII check as well. they really dont care as long as you arent throwing codes, and arent obnoxiously loud.

Also, as a side question, what's everyone's opinion on Hedman Hedders? It seems to me that for the price, it's the best bang for the buck since they are 1-1/2" to 1-5/8" stepped and only $400 (for ceramic coated, $240 painted).

Havent heard anything about them. Need to check out opinions for fitment.

with 42lb injectors, slp high flow cat x-pipe and slp loud mouth cat back i passed emissions in RI and theyre pretty tough, as long as your check engine light doesnt come on for o2 sensor codes you should pass
