Rear end rebuild

Yo to everyone....new to the forum....and im sure its a ? asked over and over

but my rear end just about shot and im looking to rebuild in the very near future.

i have 3.73's now, going to 4.10s

stepping up to 31 spline axels.....

my only problem with component decisions is the differential.

ive looked into eaton and ford motorsports...

anyone with opinions or insight into any differentials i would greatly appreciate it.

i havent had any experience with different brands and looking for some info

thanks much

Eaton and Ford's are good. Whats your set up?

Moving to Gen Tech.

I debated this question for awhile.. and then finally decided on an Eaton Posi. It sounds just like the stock differential with no extra noise. I haven't got to completely test it on slicks yet.. just drag radials. My car is my daily driver, so I wanted it to be least noisey as possible, and when I read about some of the others, they made a lot of extra noise.. and a spool was just outta the question cuz I didn't wanna die while cruising around town lol

right now i have

c&l intake pipe and upper intake

bbk 70mm throttle body

bassani high flow cats/x pipe, flowmaster mufflers

i was beginning to look into some other engine performance mods, but the

rear seems to be in need of attention.

Not my daily driver, more a weekend car if weather permits.

I had a diable chip tuned for it, but i checked the plugs after a few miles and

it was running lean so i took it back out.

thanks for info!

cant beat the price of the ford t-lok with 2 extra clutchs packed in makes its nice and tight.

I will be getting the cobra t lock with carbon fiber clutches.

the cobra t-lok is a fine piece, so is the eaton. I like other designs myself but they're not suitable for most peoples idea of street duty (Detroit lockers).

Don't forget to check out the True-Trac and EZ-Locker from Detroit. Those are my usual choices. I'm getting an eaton in a week or two but I got it basically for free so I couldn't say no. You should be happy with either.
