Best way to attach side skirts???

What's the best way to attach a Saleen side skirt? I have to take it off to replace the front fender, but in doing so I need to take off the current strip of caulking. Is there a certain kind of adhesive? tape? caulking? I should use????

Do you have fiberglass skirts? The factory saleen ones are held on by the little black plastic strip in the doorjamb. Then, it attatches with little black push connectors and two screws on each end....

Yes, they're factory and all those pins are there, but there's also slight gaps... maybe i should take some pics.

Just get you some 3M Double sided Trim tape from the auto parts store and that should fix your problem.

That's what I'm gonna try and do I believe. If you can see the gaps (painted white caulking) it's fairly large. Once I take off the skirt, I'm gonna try and fit it a little better. Also the section where the 5-10 bolts are underneath the side skirt is bent up a little possibly forcing the skirt to pop off like that. I'm gonna try and get it all straightened up.

I just really want to avoid not being able to put the skirt back on correctly after taking it off. I don't mind using some sort of caulking if that is the best way to do it.
