RPMS drop slow..

well today I was doing my normal cruising you know saw a couple girls gave it couple revs, you know the deal... and i noticed that when i rev it up my RPMS take a while to fall longer then usual... what could be the problem?

could be a number of things, check your throttle cable and make sure nothing is making it stick. check the carpet to make sure its not in the way.

is it idling higher than normal? or just taking longer to go back down?

my guess is its just the throttle cable sticking.

I have heard many refrences to cleaning out your IAC is there a how to thread on this? Or at least a picture of its location? Would it just be cleaning the throttle chamber? If it is isn't that a no no on fords due to the special coating inside?

On your plenum, on the front side, you will see the solenoid for it. Just unbolt it and grab a can of carb cleaner.
