+1 those paper gaskets just plain suck. If you REALLY need another gasket either go to Ford and get a replacement or Felpro works just as good |
i got a used h-pipe and used the stock ford gasket off my car. No leaks here.

o/r prochamber and i used the old stock gasket. no problems here.

Mac prochambers used to have a problem sealing on the passenger side exhaust manifold. If I remember correctly the OEM studs weren't able to tighten up enough to create a good seal between the manifold and prochamber. I was also concerned about this when I got my prochamber so I picked up an exhaust manifold stud kit from napa auto parts and a new gasket from Ford. However, Mac fixed the problem by also including some sort of sleeve that goes inside the passenger side prochamber pipe that connects to the manifold. I did use the new ford gasket. I've had no problems at all with the prochamber.

ok thanks so what will sound better prochamber or h
|
I kind of like the prochamber. but the H is louder I believe.
|
i think the prochamber sounds better till wot. click the link in my sig for the sound at idle

ok i think ill go with the h but i cant find catted ones for a decent price. and Mt has them but they are special order?
|
I would say prochamber. I have done both and i like pro chamber better.

i have a mac offroad H
personally... I'm not a fan of anything special on the exhaust... headers... h pipe (no cats) and chambered muffs (if any at all:devil2: ) cant go wrong w/ a plain ol ORH |
