Wheel Spaces

what would be a good looking thickness for a 96' cobra (1.000 in., 1.181 in., 1.378 in., 1.575 in., 1.771 in. )? thanks.

96'Cobra 07-13-2006 06:45 PM

or 25mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm, 45mm?

Why are you wanting to run spacers?

to get rid of that tucked in look

I've added 1" spacers for that exact same reason and I couldn't be happier.

25mm then.

96'Cobra 07-14-2006 09:58 PM

in just the rear?

r3dn3ck 07-15-2006 07:51 AM

yeah, you don't need them up front.

I have H&R 25mm rear spacers on my car...

with my 17x9 and 275/40's they rub a tiny bit if I hit a dip too hard or on a sharply angled driveway...but it looks good :beerchug:

I have 1" spacers on the back only on my 97 Cobra. They are a major improvment over that pigion toed look. Looks good from the side, but to me it kind of made the tires look too skinny in the back. I definatly need to get 10.5" rims. Anyway, the 1" spacers work great til I can afford rims/tires.
