Need Help Finding A Part!!!

All the Mach guys out there, does anyone know where I can get a 1/2" shaker extension? I've been looking all over for one and can only find a 1" version. Any help would be appreciated....

a half inch won't do any good. which is probably why it's not offered. 1" will get the scoop much closer to the high pressure area and improve performance if only marginally (like almost not at all).

The way I was thinking was that if I got the 1/2 inch, and the PHP intake spacer (which is also 1/2 inch), then it would equal out without the scoop looking like something out of pro stock.

I'd abandon all hope of making that scoop any more useful than it is. There's insufficient frontal area and scoop volume to collect enough air to do any good. The reason pro-stock use such big scoops so far off the hood is to get them into the slip stream or in the direct path of high speed air and keep them there. Mixing the two won't be any more useful than either one by itself.

I have a 3/4" shaker extension and got it used off the www.mach1registry.org Also, if your not a member of the registry join up and PM tach9 and he will make you a custom 1/2" extension. I believe he also runs the http://www.mach1review.com/ which produces the 1" extension. I'm pretty sure he'll make you any height you want, but he'll have to make it a special order.

You might be better of just getting a PHP intake spacer, which will probably raise the shaker about 1/2" and give you a little more low-end power

Here is a picture of a 1/2" extension (DSG mach) and a 3/4" (red mach)....they both look just fine in my book.
