wtf is a stall?? or tq converter?
Ok, I'm a stick guy so I dunno about any of the auto jargon. The only words I pick up on is torque converter and "stall" like being 3000 or 3500. So just to get us manual guys up to speed, can any auto buffs explain exactly what a stall is/means/signifies and what a torque converter does?

Alright, now that all you transmission gurus are finished beatin on this guy for not understanding the intimate inner workings of a torque converter, show you true transmission knowledge (and age) by describing a "clutch turbo" or a "clutch flight". I'll check back later to weed the storytellers from the knowlegdable!!
