i recently bought a 2001 stang gt convertible and wanted to buy some after market parts but with so many out there i dont know where to begin,i really wanted to upgrade the horsepower first, can someone please tell me where i should start?

buy a supercharger kit. dont play around with the small stuff thats expensive that doesnt do much.

Rejekt 06-03-2006 05:25 AM

:stupid: But also depends on how much hp you're looking to get out of the car.

be prepared to spend 5+ grand for a superchrager kit after everything is said and done (tune, dyno, guages, etc)

IMO you should buy some gears, and SCT Xcal 2....then start saving your money, and while doing that, research and read up on everything that has to do with forced induction..then when you are educated get the blower (supercharger)

how about you define your budget for us. Otherwise a fight will probably start soon.

I always say brakes are the best first upgrade. You want to add go, add some whoa first. It's easy to go fast, stopping in time usually takes planning ahead and preparation.

dont forget the SFC

my budget is pretty much what i can save up but about 5 grand is reasonable
