Body kits...

I'm not real smart as far as body work so I was wondering what is the difference and what is better between fiberglass and urethane kits. I noticed urethane is more expensive so I'm assuming they are more durable or something to that effect. Just wondering so I don't get ripped off when I get my kit.

Urathayne is harder to break....kinda like ruber it has it's up and downs....yea it's not as easy to break like fiberglass...but it is a bit harder to paint where as fiberglass you can scuff it, prime it and paint it. Another downfall to urathayne is once it's broke....you gotta buy a new one...where as fiberglass...if you break it/crack it it can be repaired easily. If you get a fiberglass kit made out of "Aero-fiber" fiberglass...it's just like urathayne, but doesnt crack or break like normal fiberglass. I've seen the Aero-fiber myself in person from Aerogear...it's pretty hot we jumped on a aero-fiber hood and it didnt crack at all.

Thanks, I think I'll stick with the fiberglass. I'm not planning on anyone cracking that ****, but if they do I'd rather repair it then buy a whole new bumber/skirt
