Borla or no?
 

The previous owner of my car told me it had borla exhaust. these dont look like borla, and there is not stamp on it sayin borla. does anyone know if they really are borla, and if not, what are they?

Those cans are the same can shape as my borla ProXS but my mufflers have Borla CLEARLY embossed on the case. If it doesn't say Borla, it's probably not Borla.

No i dont think those are borla, mine have borla stamped on the muffler, if you had some pictures of the tips then i could tell you for sure also a sound clip would help also

:stupid: All Borla I've seen have it stamped on. I thought I remembered some company that makes a ss muffler system that claimed to be made by Borla but not stamped? I may be wrong thro.

It's certainly an aftermarket muffler. It seems to have pretty good size inlet and outlet holes, and a shiny case. It can't be that bad. Just don't call it a borla cuz if it don't say borla, it ain't borla. Even if it's made by them, it's made to someone elses specs.

If they sound good, keep em. They look decent and the shiny steel case is very high quality.

pics of my s h i t baller tips, and i got a soundclip too, the soundclip is the "borla" mufflers and bbk perf x pipe. if you guys want when i go back outside and put it back together ill make another soundclip of the mufflers with a stock h pipe

yeah those tips look like fake "borla" knock offs....
it sounds alright....

i had borla on my previous car and it was stamped with borla like everyone else is saying.

i didn't listen to the clip but if it sounds good to you then keep them! no sense in getting a new exhaust just for the name.

Steeda is made by Borla but has Steeda stamped on it.

yeah it sounds like a borla. But just some knockoff. Steeda gets their exhaust form borla...so its possible that other companies do too

I have a borla system in my Saleen and they are stock in saleens. I don't know if mine are stamped or not but my tips (before I changed them) are the same exact as yours.

I have the Steeda exhaust and the mufflers definately don't look like that and they do have Steeda stamped on them. Your tips definately look like some borla tips though.

no, the tips arent borla. There are a few things about them and they do look like the saleen tips

the saleen exhaust is borla though.. i think

but theres a certain borla exhaust that has those tips
