Gear are in... what next??

Just looking for some opinions!!! The 3.73 Gears are great!! Love the new "feel" of the car!!! def better throttle response and gas mileage!!! Happy with that! ALOT! now for my next mod i have these options.. i know all in due time, they will all be put on but i just need another opinion on what to go for next to improve the stang best!

eibach pro kit
or
cowl hood
or
DD fr550's w/sumitomo tires
or
Bassani or Lontube Headers

what you think??

3V2000GT 05-14-2006 02:24 PM

bassani mid lengths headers to go with the rest of your bassani
springs also but those are cheap
dont need the hood and your stock rims look awesome

I would lower it first. That's what I did when mine looked exactly like your's.It made a huge difference!!

Saleen S330 05-14-2006 02:56 PM

Get the bassani headers. I like your rims also.

Lances03SVT 05-14-2006 02:59 PM

Oh yea screw the Pro Kit go H&R's!!!

Silver02GT 05-14-2006 06:25 PM

Springs next...whatever kind you decide to go with. Dropping it makes a big difference.

StangGT804 05-14-2006 06:45 PM

well seems like you guys are straight forward!! looks like the tint then onto some eibachs or h&r's!! thanks guys! quick help at MT Forums! :)

you got better gas mileage from ur gears?
i was always under the impression that they hurt gas mileage. (though i didnt really notice too much of a difference wen i got my 4.10s)

either way congrats and have fun with whatever u decide to go with next :beerchug:

Gears themself dont really hurt gas mileage. With gears, the engine works less(higher ratio = easer to rev) but since theyre so fun, you'll find yourself more on the gas(as I have found recently :D ) so as long as you're driving normally, gears can actually help a little. Yes, even 4.10's

Nitrous.

yea i noticed that too!! says h&r lower it 1.75 n 1.5 while eibachs lower it 1.5 all around!! so why not eibachs??? looks funny lowered in the rear and not so much in the front. :dots:

I have H&R springs.

MattJ 05-15-2006 11:07 AM

Mine seems to sit a tad lower in the rear with h&rs as well.

Saleen S330 05-15-2006 11:14 AM

My 5.4's extra weight makes the front sit lower than the rear

Saleen S330 05-15-2006 11:15 AM

A better side shot of the car

Saleen S330 05-15-2006 11:16 AM

Nevermind, it won't upload
