Need some opinions.....

I finally got off my lazy ass and ordered some 4.10s...havent gotten em yet but i gonna get a dyno tune when i get them installed. I figured that i would also try to go ahead and add some other mods before i get the dyno tune so i dont have to do it twice. Just wondering what would be some good moderately priced mods (up to about 500-600 bucks) to add before getting the dyno tune.

Kinda off topic but about how much would it cost to have stage one cams installed....i dont think i could do it myself.

TO stay within your $5-600 range, I'd say u/d pullies and TB & PLenum. To get cams/spings and all that good stuff you're probably looking at over $1k parts/install.

when you get further in modding the price goes up and up per mod. 5-6 hundo - spray. TB will eat all that money and give maybe 10 hp, UDP's another 5-7.

find the extra couple hundred and do the cams. You want the performance, get the cams. You can worry about adding little bolt on nothing parts later on and get a lot more out of them. Put off the gear install for a couple months and save up for the cam install. You go into a hotrod shop for gears, a dyno tune and cams, you're plunking down a good chunk of change, they'll usually work with you on the price when you're talking about slapping 1500 bucks on the counter.
