blown out tire
 

I'm not sure if this really goes in tire talk or not but I have a question. I hit a rock in the road that the car in front of me swerved and missed but didn't give me the time to miss it. It blew a good sized hole in the sidewall. I pulled over and commenced to throwing on the spare. To make a short story long, I did a Cobra brake upgrade and the spare did not fit over the brakes. Have any of you done anything to remedy this problem. I don't want to blow $150 or so on a Cobra spare that doesn't make it look better or go faster. Does a full size tire and wheel fit in the well in the trunk and could I pick up another bullitt wheel instead of the Cobra spare.

PS: I'm still driving on the Goodyear ZR45 and I had to pay $250 for one damn tire (so they all matched still).. that sucks.:censored:

You could fit it, but it will be bulding imensily in your trunk.

A full size will take up alot of trunk space. if you get a rear seat delete kit, you could mount another full size rim( that you have on the car) to that and it would look sweet, seen it done before. If you don't want to buy another rim and tire, check on ebay or maybe a junk yard for the 17in spare.
