~40lbs on a coupe, maybe 5 on a vert. and thats with all the brackets and seat belts removed... |
ohhhhh. looks like i found my next mod lol. thanks
waste of money imo... you could move your battery to the trunk and get better results.
nobody wants to sit in the back of my car anyways and i could save around 40 lbs. sounds good to me. i wont buy one but i will make one.
Only thing moving the battery to the trunk does is move the weight to the back for better distribution and you actually add a bit more once its all done. Then you have to add a cut off switch and everything. If you dont use the back seat then the delete is a good investment. Personaly Ill be doing that plus getting a lightweight battery.

better weight distribution does a lot more than you think. it will let the front end lift up more and put more weight on the back tires where you need it so you can have better traction. by moving your battery to the back its equal to taking somewhere around 100 lbs off the car plus you get better traction... just something to think about... if anything, i would think a rear seat delete would hurt a basically stock mustang more than anything because you are taking weight off the rear of the car thus hurting your traction. |
I think that would be cool...of course i do use my back seat for SOME things:devil2: I might start a little project this summer with ma back seats. :pepper:
too many bitchez get in the back of my car :D
The back seat is too small for mee... and 2-4 other women.:beerchug: Plus, I dont want ****in 5 hundred people with me when im out with my girl... i might wanna you no...do something..:shifty: later...
