I was thinking of bolting it in somewhere on the passenger side of my 96 mustang. Any ideas? Cuz right now it is just chilling on the floor.

What do you use it for? If I were you, I'd want it to be hidden, so I would bolt/velcro it to the inside of my console, with the ports facing up (whether or not this will work depends on the shape/size of yours).
