Default Springs

I am trying to figure out what kind of springs to get the H&R Sport Springs or the Eibach Pro kit. I have a 96 Mustang convertible V6 with 18” rims and the body from the tire is 4” in the front 4.5” something like that in the back. Now the H&R springs lower the car 1.9” front and 1.5” rear. That would make my rear almost 1” higher then the front witch I don’t like how that looks. Now on the other hand the Eibach are 1.5” all around I would like 2” all around but I cant find any good springs that will do that. But my only concern with the Eibach springs is this.

I would just like to know what kind of springs everyone else has and how they like what spings they have and if the Eibach springs will sag later and how much of the quality of the ride will be sacrificed for this. I also wrote stangsuspension.com and they said it will lower 1.5 exactly… Give me your thoughts on what to do and fill me in if there are any other kinds of my springs to look at.

The Pro Kit is a compromise of nice stance/moderate drop while still keeping a good comfortable ride. 1.25 sounds about right...

It may not sound like much, but with 17" rims its a big difference from stock.

I have the pro kit and love it. I also put caster camber plates on.. some will say not needed with pro.. but all will say needed if you go with the sportline kit.

H&R and you will love me for it...Lance recommended it to me...I now recommend it to you, I love mine...you can't imagin how nicely your car will corner and look until you get them...Do it Just do it...do it

Don't listen to them, look at my pics, I got mine in and I got a 6, so i'm closest to your weight..trust me once they level out and settle they'll be even, Also remember the front stock is bigger then the rear...and the rear is gaining and loosing weight as you fill up the tank...

very true. How long did it take for the springs to "level" out? And did you get Camber plates?
