well well, i told a coworker of mine that i just got my 4.6 mustang and he said, thats cool...(he owns a 90something Z28) he said he just gets 13.8's and that he'd burn me (prolly since im stock) and he said IF i went to a track, that i couldnt get lower than 15...he said he'd bet me 100 bucks, i didnt answer and he walked away...

i couldnt take him on the bet, ive never been to a track and dont kno wut to do at one...lol

 

I think you could get at least a 14.7 or so lol. Sneak off to the track and find out, THEN take his bet. If you get it that night and not the night of the bet, lol just switch the time slips...

i kno its got some stuff on it, but not totally sure, my other friend said he'd beat me by maybe a car length...but idk...lol idk WUT yr but its 90 or 92 or sumtin...but its like 3 different colors, hood is one, panels another, etc...like pieces from a puzzle...lol

Same thing here.My Magnapack's were not as loud as my single chamber Flow's I had untill I added the X pipe.

He's got a auto.........its punch and go for us autos.....lol....but none the less

 

ive never raced before...like for a time...and i just got the car, still trying to get use to it, idk how to launch corectly, tried once and tires just spun for about 2 secs then launched...do u go on pedal slow til it goes then step on it so they wont spin? or....just floor it

Those old Z28s were garbage, both the 305 and 350, but there are a trillion parts available to em and most are fairly cheap. So if hes got anything done to that car other than a few basic bolts ons, you should beat him.

I would of bet him 200 bucks that id eat that car alive.

if it's the 305 the mustang would kill it. if it's the 350 he'd have a good jump off the line but you'd catch him shortly after shifting to second (as long as you're not still spinning). by 3rd you'd be 4 car lengths ahead or more. the 350's have torque off the line and nothing else. the 305 is a waste of time.

 

either way you'd rape his car so bad.

i dont have an automatic but i'd say rev it to 3k rpms and hold the brakes, when the light turns green go but dont floor it until you know you have traction. i'd definitely suggest practicing launches on your own before you race him. the launch is his ownly chance to get ahead of you.
