Beltline weatherstripping is the pieces of weatherstrip that run along the top of the door on either side of the window, which wipes the window and keeps water from getting down into the door. On older Mustangs, this weatherstripping can easily become cracked, brittle and damaged, and can stop doing the job that it should. That failure can allow water into the door and cause much bigger damage to the door, so it is important that the Beltline Weatherstripping be replaced at the first sign of damage.
