Default Brake line Question

http://www.americanmuscle.com/9698-s...ake-lines.html

The rear brake lines say that they are only for the v8 but I thought all the brake components were the same for the v6 and the GT

Will they work on a v6?

If not Will they work on a v6 with a rear end from a GT

They will work. As far as being able to feel or tell a difference, that may be a little difficult. I'd like a set of SS rear lines though.

I thought the 99-04 were the same across the v6 and v8 models and I also though that the 94-98 were NOT the same?

Many parts will swap easily from 94-04 and from v8 to v6. Somethings will and some things won't. Brakes, suspension, exterior/interior parts normally swap with no problem.

I called AM and they said that the difference was at the caliper but I know for a fact that the GT and the v6 caliper is the same so I dont get how there can be a difference

I believe the difference is in the thread at the caliper.

I'm not aware of a difference in the rear caliper threads. I know that you can run into that problem with the front calipers.
