Nice car man. I am glad the newer red interriors only have red seats and doors.

The amount of orange peel on the 05+ mustangs makes me cringe so bad...

Good looking car though, even with the porno interior.

Looks identical to mine, minus the few interior additions I have.

I have orange peel on my paint, too. It'll have to stay until I need a new paintjob.

Widow, it has an awesome shine to it. Glad you're okay after seeing pics of your old car. Did that Caprice pull out in front of you or something?

Car looks great, dude. Not a fan of the orange peel but don't all of the '05-'09s have that?

I agree. This is my second S197. Luckily my current GT does not have a significant amount of orange peel. My last one did pretty badly. I guess I got the better end of the stick this time around.

Car looks good!

Thanks!

Yea the driver of that sweet '94 Caprice claims he never even saw me before making a sudden left turn into a Dunkin' Donuts.

I got 10,600 for it though, which is pretty decent considering it was a v6.

As for the orange peel, is that a consistent problem with the 05+s? My '03 barely had any (although that paint had binding issues)

Yeah, it's rare to see an 05+ without all of that orange peel unless it's had someone hit it with a rotary and some serious paint correction. Dunno why, most of them are just like that..

If you look at the paint up close it looks like the outside layer(skin) of an orange...hence why they call it orange peel. My gf's 06 f150 is the same way.

That pic really shows it. See how the paint isn't flat. It's a result of uneven spray patterns at the factory in most cases, or perhaps the sprayers weren't aimed at a 90 degree angle to the surface like they should be...

All cars have some orange peel, its just a matter of how much, unless you wetsand/buff it all out, which isn't a fun task, but the results are worth it
