2008 Toyota Highlander. AWD 270hp, actually a pretty quick SUV. Surprisingly enough, this car actually weighs about the same as a GT500.

haha, no I didn't sell my car. We sold my wifes civic.

Still...I'd take that over a civic any day.

It's a hell of a lot better looking than those damn Honda Elements or the Pontiac Azteks.

To each their own. The picture doesn't really do it justice, but it is a nice SUV. The civic was a 01 and was just too small when you are trying to haul around 2 people and 2 dogs. Plus now we can go camping more and up to the snow. Gas mileage isn't bad, probably about the same as the stang, plus my wife only drives 6 miles to work. This will take the civic though. If I had full control though, we would be in a black Trailblazer SS which we were looking at before.

 

I say you can never go wrong with a Ford Explorer.

Yeah I hate Honda's as well and Highlanders are ugly as hell. Should of went with a Dodge Durango.

My mom has one. It does pretty well, especially considering the fact that it has a V6. I think a lot of people have the wrong idea about SUV's. I've known a lot of people that complain about the ride quality in certain SUV's, and I can't help but laugh at them. If you want decent ride quality, buy a car. On that note, it pisses me off that they softened the ride on a lot of them. That's not the point of an SUV. Don't even get me started on 100lb soccer moms that think they need a 3 ton panzer to go shopping..

 

Dodge Durangos are ****. We wanted something that will actually last awhile.

My GF had a 2000 durango with a 4.7L v8.. she used to make fun of me for having a smaller engine, albeit with much more power lol. Anyway, the damn thing was the biggest piece of **** ever. The radiator went twice, and the tranny was already acting really funny at 60k miles. Anyway, long story short, some ******* rearended the **** out of her and the car was totalled.

Now she has a black 2007 V6 mustang, which is awesome

 

I honestly like RAV4s better than Highlanders. And they get pretty decent gas mileage.
