Default buying a mustang

i am planning on buying between a 96-00 (something within $6000) and was wondering what is paying to much for around a late 90's early 2000-2001 mustang?

Try cars.com or autotrader.com but don't give up on craigslist. You can also try eBay, just make sure you search for something local since you want to go see the car before buying. I found mine in 05 on AutoTrader.com which was an 03 GT w/ 17,000 and I paid $12,500 for it. Look hard enough and you'll find a good deal, it just takes time.

hope that 96 had low milles. when i bought my sixxer(6000 dollars btw) there was a 98 gt for i think 7grand but my dad gave me the insurance and gas price talk and one thing lead to another and i bought a v6...then again that gt really needed new rotors and an alternator but still... oh and it was fully loaded leather seats, crazy mach sound system, etc

I would shoot for a 00-04 GT, I've seen some good deals on them on autotrader.com and cars.com
