Default Carpet cleaning?

Dun dun duuuuun.

This is a serious detailing Q, what's the best way to clean carpets -WITHOUT- a steam carpet extractor. I can't really afford to drop $600 bones on one of those. Are there any other good ways to remove stains and soil etc from carpet and floor mats? I have a carpet brush for my PC and it works pretty good but it takes a while to do.

You can get a Bissell Little Green clean machine for around $100. It does a gereat job on carpeting. I use it in my detail business. I spray a prespotting solution first on the heaviewr stains, then spray the carpet solution, agitate it with a brush then extract.

Couple hours, and pretty good.

it wont do miracles, but it will definatly get most of the junk out.

Couple of hours? Jesus..lol, I need to have it nailed down to about 30 minutes. It's for my detailing gig.

I don't have one either. When I do need to do the carpets I use my shop vac to suck the water out. I have a clean attachment I have never used for anything but that so it works out good.
