my car was broken into! dammit! whoever is did it has been doing it for several weeks. parking lot security cant find them. i park WAY away from everybody so it can be seen easily from all directions and they still got me. they shoved something into my key hole to force the lock open. dented the area around it...bastards took my radar. i'll have to take it to a body shop but i doubt calling my insurance is worth it. the damage doesn't look too bad. i'll post pics so you guys can tell me what to expect...that radar saved me from so many tickets...

 

its a shame, but i know the 99-04 is one of the easiest cars to break into. the door/window design is total rubbish. you can tear the weather stripping off and get something into the door and just pull the lock up. easier than breaking the lock in my opinion. weather stripping is a lot easier to replace, too!

 

How about taking that money that you'd get the dents fixed with and getting an alarm installed? If it were me, that's what I'd do. I'd rather drive around with dents around the key hole than have some ******* try to break into my car all the time. They also wouldn't expect it. If they've been trying to break into your car for awhile and haven't heard an alarm, chances are, if they try it again and do hear an alarm, they'll leave you alone.

get a security system for sure, thats the first real thing I am doing since my bad fortune most recently with my 2001 I had.

My brother got his broken into. You need to have a paging alarm so at least youll know that someone it messing with it.
