I was on my way home and it usually takes me about 10 to 15 minutes to get home. I dont know why and its never happened like this before but i had at least 3 people try to race me and show off by revving their engines. I had 2 srt-4's and a trans am. Why us, why the mustangs? Are they that intimidated by mustangs haha like what the ****. I always get people doing that......

 

the mustang in my view has always just been one of those "Cars to beat"

First they want to beat a Mustang GT, then a Camaro, then a Corvette.

I guess unless you can beat a Mustang GT, you just have no cred, so any chance they can get they try to race if they think they are ready to beat one.

Funny thing is how they always talk **** about how slow a mustang is, then they brag about beating one.

 

have that all the time done to me but i never race, "or do i" but sumtimes its mostly civic's, sentra's, etc... ya the slower cars. lol

 

for me it was a p.o.s camaro, until i revved back one . then next it is a mustang and then so on and so on...

 

seeing how I don't have a stang anymore it's funny to see some of this happen and not be a part of it. Every now and again I'll see some ricer roll up next to a stang and want to go. It gets me all pumped up.

I used to get revved A LOT when driving my mach....not so much in my GT.

 

They saw the pony fender emblems and figured you had a V6

 

i only every had one guy in a gti rev at me, then when i reved he stopped.

 

I never get revved at and never rev at anyone, revving in an auto seems kinda gay. lol

revv at most cars when you come to a stop is gay. i only reved becouse i thought it would be fun and i wanted to see what he would do.

 

I get revved at every day, I never rev back...as u pointed out in an auto it's gay and I have stock exhaust. What really gets me going is to be behind some law abiding citizen going the exact speed limit until I pull out to pass....then they turn into mario friggin andretti!!

i did that to some women the other day. she was in this grandam or w/e and was riding my *** for 2-3 miles. like 1-2 ft away from my bumper!. so i was on cruise control at like 55-60MPH. my turn was about 1-1 1/2miles up the road. so they finally get sick of being behind me and i get sick of them riding my ***. i see their left turn signal going on and right as soon as they were on the left side of the road i accelerated, then she was still tring to pass me! so i acceled some more, i guess she finally got tired of trying. bahahah then my turn was 1/6 mile up the road and their is traffic on comming. and i was turning left so i had to come to a complete stop till the traffic passes and so did she lmao. i bet she wasnt happy.

i mean c'mon, im the type of person that if i see people behind me and im getting ready to turn left and i see no on coming traffic i get on the left side of the road before the turn so people behind me don't have to stop or slow down. aand etc for other people. but if they are ******, screw em. idc

 

this happens to me every friggin day, and i only have a sixer. I think there's just something about the s197.

 

the only time i ever time i ever got revved was in the wal-mart parking lot pulling into a spot, across from another 96 sixer. his car looked like **** and sounded pathetic. it was an auto. the guy revved me and then sped out of the parking lot like he was a badass or something. it was gay. i see him driving around town now and then.

 

It ain't just mustangs. I've seen stupid kids in their primer paint Hondas try out anyone who has anything worthy of a 2nd look. The Fast and Furious syndrome I call it. I saw a ricer get owned in about 2 seconds the other day with a late model vette. (not sure if it was a C-6 or it may have been a Z-06. LOL, poor kid got embarrased in less time than it took him to get into 2nd gear.. That Vette bolted from the light. Yeah they try me all the time. Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. Just depends on what kinda day I've had.. But I'm also proned to try a Vette or a TransAm cause, hey, who really cares as long as you're being safe, and not trying to run a 1/4 mile drag race..

 

Stuff like that happens to me damn near every day. I mostly get tried by asswipes in Hondas. All I can do is laugh at how funny their exhaust sounds. The other day, I had some poor stupid bastard in a Nissan Xterra try to race me.

Another thing that happens to me often is someone will tailgate me so close that I can't see their headlights. What really pisses me off is when I'm going about 5 or 10 over the speed limit (which is normally the maximum of how fast I'll go), and it still won't be fast enough for them. It's like they think I'm going to drive like a bat out of hell just because I'm in a Mustang.

 

Ya'll aint gonna believe this ****!! Coming home from physical therapy today, at a red light this piece of crap primered out, ragged out saturn pulls up beside me and starts to rev his crap. It sounds like a weed eater on crack. I start laughing, just couldn't help myself. I looked at him and he's got this **** eating grin on his face. So the light turns and I get on it just a bit, and it happened....not quite sure what happened but I heard a very loud back fire and looked back to see his car sitting in the intersection smoking like a freight train. Wonder if he's still grinning?lol

 

stupid *** saturn, had my cousin pull up beside me this weekend, he revved his sentra GXE, n then i revved my stang up to 6000 rpms n my **** was way louder than his gxe, ha i looked over to him n said shhhh, lol, after that he didnt revved any more, lmao

Your car is pretty stock. If people revved at every stock 6er they saw... it'd be loud outside.

My car is 100% stock down to the stereo and floor mats haha. But the typical Utah ricer doesn't not recognize much. They see "mustang" and they usually go crazy.

I had some kid with his friend in a 2 door honda something or other with a 1' tall wing and big old fart can driving like he thought it was a fast car.. he got ahead of me a bit and I could see the flames from the exhaust.. Heck, even if my car were tuned it would be a waste of time and gas to put the kid in his place.. I don't think he realized he was next to a 500 hp car
