I consider myself pretty uneducated in this department. How different are individual throttle bodies from carbs? Is it like having a separate carb for each cylinder, or more sophisticated still?

They did a write-up about that in one of the rags. It's actually modern EFI, the injectors are hidden in each of the individual bodies, they share a common vacuum on the bottom side of the intake and I saw only one TPS hooked into the linkage. What I can't understand is how or where a MAF reading is done or if it's like the old speed density with a fixed table?

The page says stand alone ignition system. There ya go. No MAF is my guess.... since it's carbed. This particular model isn't the one you saw in the mags. this is actually Weber Carbs. I like the EFI unit better.

Good call, I realized it once I read the write up on Kar Kraft. Wasn't sure if someone would call me out on it or not. Guilty as charged. Agreed that the EFI unit in the magazine was pretty damn cool
