Just bought a 2003 Mach and noticed that it has aluminum* valve covers. I thought 03's only came with painted black covers and 04's came with aluminum. Any thoughts??? I know the guy I bought it from personaly so the motor's never been swapped or anything.

 

I thought all 4V came with aluminum valve covers. I know the Lincolns are aluminum, just painted black.

 

They are all aluminum but 03 mach's are painted black.... i think

 

i know my 04 mach had aluminum valve covers....the 03 mach's are aluminum as well, but painted black. There are some other very minor differences between the 03 and 04 mach's, but nothing major.

Yes the 03 mach1 f4alves had black valve covers. they have probably just been swapped.
