Thumbs up Got the Evo back...took some pics

just got 'er back from two months in the shop. (spun a bearing, 2.3 build ensued). I was so glad to have the evo back, figured I'd take some pics. enjoy

pics aren't the best, oh well. night shots are difficult with a point and shoot. ( I did use a tripod)

but if you don't mind me asking...what kind of camera are you using? the picture quality is phenomenal.

paint definitely needs help. i've never been one to detail paint..but now that I own a black car I guess I'm going to have to.


the camera is a 200 dollar sony point and shoot.

Black sucks any scratches shows up easy. Im thinking about painting mine a different color. How did you get a spun bearing, you havnt had it that long.

bleh..hole in the fpr led to mass oil consumption...spun a bearing, entire engine was trashed. i could've prevented it with an oil pressure gauge...or by checking my oil at every fill up.

They sure do! But just park as far away from people in parking lots, wash the car with a clean 100% cotten towel everytime, and use a blower to dry the car!!! You'll be golden! Keep black, it's sinister.

your car looks good. your black looks like my OBP subaru. original owners did the drive-thru wash for the 2 and half years they owned it. i had the paint clay bar'd and buffed and it didnt help that much. it shines good but the swirls will never leave. that cost me 130 euros, like 200 bucks. i was warned of how it might turn out.

when your using yellow lighting, monkey with the white balance and change it to incandescent or indoor lighting. looks like youve already had a photography coarse but never hurts.

car and pics look good.
