black with white stripes always looks good. i also like the sonic blue with white stripes.

 

I'm partial to Bright Yellow with Mineral Grey or Black stripes.

Love yellow sports cars.

i don't know, aside from actually being able to say that you would own a "shelby cobra", i think i'd rather buy an '05 gt vert and super charge it. i think that you could get more bang for the buck. ......yes... no.....??

 

Yes your right, but its a Shelby Cobra don't you get goose bumps just saying that.

 

yeah it sounds really nice ...uh.. great, but i just love my '03 cobra vert. i've had it for awhile now, haven't dyno'd it yet, but it really runs fast.

p.s. it's all black too. i'd show a picture if i could afford a camera. i'm car parts poor...... everytime i save up enough $$$ , it goes right into my car.

For those poor souls (I resemble this remark) who are pining to actually buy a $35000 cobra (and willing to pay maybe $40000 for it), the word is that $70000 (yeah, some of the dealers are actually floating that price) or more will be needed to bribe your local prison-guard ford dealer. This will "get you on the waiting list" behind the owner, gm, sales manager and golfing buddies, all of whom are waiting for their personal (investment) cars...

I hope that Ford puts the kabosh to this nonsense soon. Ford's stock is dropping like a rock, their bond rating is now "junk", and their cars aren't selling (except for Mustang GT's, which for some unimaginable reason they don't seem to want to manufacture).

The last thing they need is for their only midyear PR coup (introduction of the GT500) to turn instead into a story about outrageous dealer gouging of the loyal Ford fan base...

My color choice would be yellow with silver stripes.

Or maybe a corvette for $10,000 less, or a hemi charger for half the price, or for that matter a LS pontiac or chevy for even less.
