Just got my motive 4.10s . . .

I finally got my motive gears for my 00 3.8L. Im waiting for my Ford t-lok to install them at the same time. What should I expect in terms of install cost? I had a local tranny shop quote me at $400 bucks!

You have to find a good shop, some shops are going to charge you by the "book time" others are going to be more reasonable.

You'll need a way to fix the speedo too.

$200-250 labor is what I would pay. Theres a good 50-75 worth of bearings and races though. A few bucks for fluid too.
