justin what intake and muffler combo are you running on that v6?

Edit: duh i was reading your old post on v6power.net and forgot about the changes so i should rephrase it to what intake and muffler combo were you running before the supercharger.

A CAI that I made up real quick. And a GT muffler.

The air temps pick up about 20* above ambient during a run.

Ok i have a couple other questions for you justin. On some websites that advertise the SCT x-cal2 they only advertise it being able to adjust for up to 19" tires, but thats probably only because nobody runs 20's on the older stangs. I want to put my 06 on 20's soon and need to know if it can take those tires into effect. Also in your opinion, what would i see a bigger gain from, an x-cal and muffler, (was gonna do duals but your other post said going to true duals wouldn't help unless you were supercharged) or X-cal and CAI, or all three? Also I am in california so 91 is the best I can run.

Do all 3. The tires are not an issue at all the way I program my X2s.

ok great cause i want to do the X-cal muffler and intake first to feel that gain, and then add the rims a couple months later, since I know the 20's will slow me down some. Any intake or exhaust brands you reccomend? Flowmasters aren't expensive and my friend has one on his 6 and i like how it sounds, but everyone bashes on them and says they don't flow well. K&N seems to be tried and true also.

The KN CAIs on 05+ are worthless. I do like their Lightning cold air. The JLT intake is reasonably priced and looks like a quality piece. We can put together a package if you are interested. I recomend a GT muffler.
