Smoked an SRT4
From a light he came up and looked over at me, then honked. I didn't stage, I did nothing but hit the gas and I smoked him by 3 cars up to 80mph. It must have been a stock one. But none the less I still smoked his ***. I am getting my H-Pipe put on sometime this week.

Good kill, but are you sure he was actually trying to run you right then off the light? We got a couple local guys around here in srt4's no one ever wants to mess with....350WHP+ lol. One of them a re-tuned and pumped 430ish. Dont under estimate them all since you caught one off guard and smoked him.

SRT-4's are stupid cars, who cares if they have engines with a lot of potential..I wouldn't want to be caught dead in one of those little **** roaches.

Zig, I agree with you. Any smart person would NOT bash on a car that would smoke them. I'll bash honda's like anyone else but when it comes to a 700+FWHP one...i'm not gonna bash it i'll give it props! As for SRT-4's yea it's still a neon..but it's a neon i would respect over a SXT neon!

Dodge will end up bringing the neon back due to it having a good reputation and a great selling car. When they introduced the srt4 turbo...it was like the 99-00 civic SI's everyone had to have one. Then they did the SXT to look like the srt4 minus the wheels and turbo along with interior, the less fortunate kids baught that one to "look" like they had a srt model. Either way it's a good car for a DD.

The Caliber has replaced the neon in the lineup, while it does look like an SUV, sit is short and small... a really nice car that is allready on the road. And the SRT-4 version pictured is going to be pretty cool.

I have to agree with whoever says SRT-4's are lame.
I like the speed of the mustang, and i also love the style.
I respect the speed of an srt-4, but that doesent change the fact it is an ugly little ****ing neon bunny lookin thing and you wouldnt catch me in one of those EVER.
****, GIVE me an SRT-4 and you will see it on Ebay UNDRIVEN.
they LOOK totally retarded and ARE totally retarded.
SRT-4 is on the same level as a VW beetle to me. I dont care about thier performance, it is a stupid lookin car that makes the driver look even stupider.
i dont have a problem with a little econobox souped up, but for christs sake, the NEON?.... Why couldnt they make an SRT-6 version of the Stratus? At least that is a decent lookin car.

But don't worry, no one is going to flame you for that post because according to Blk02stang, you car has to be faster than the one you're criticizing in order for it to be a justifiable statement.

Hell the only reason they call it the SRT-4 is probably because if they called it a Neon turbo no one would buy it because Neons are such crap.

LOL... im in the market for a beater car. I have a 1,500 limit.
I find 1998-1999 Dodge Neons with under 90k miles for $1,500 all the time.
The only other cars i see with low miles under 10 years old and that cheap?

My son has the first year SRT4, he paid like, 15,000 for it through the military. That little thing is fast, and for the money, you can't beat it. Now, I have to get my stang blown to even think of racing him. I can't believe you dusted one with your car the way it sits. He was not trying, and if he was, he can't drive the thing. I was always a Mopar man, I just left the dark side, and own a stang now, but I'm having trouble finding the same thrill of my old HEMI with this car. Someday I'll be blown and maybe all will fall into place for me. As they say, "I have the need for speed", and I will never out grow that.
