Yep, went to the track on friday and ran the cobra for the first time since I traded the GT. All I have is a magnaflow catback and JLT cold air, everything else is stock, even tires. The track was pretty good, and temp was about 80, so it wasn't that hot.

60- 1.93
330- 5.28
1/8- 8.05
1/8mph - 89.89
1/4- 12.38
1/4mph- 114.21

I'm really happy, and can't wait to pulley and tune it to get in the 11's. I also ran a few 12.5's trappin 115, but with crappier 60's

However How did you pull a 1.90 60ft on the stock goodyears? Also how did you run a 12.40 (on your 1st time out) when every other cobra I have seen with same mods runs BEST of 12.70s?

 

Damn that's pretty good for your first time out with the cobra. Do you plan on switching out the IRS for a straight axle?

 

That is not the case. I ran a 12.52@116 with a CAI and CB and that was a 2.07 60' time; my 1/8th time was 8.2 @92 as well. With my mph and just with those 2 mods its a 12.00-12.10 with good traction. Now that I have the pulley and tune my time should be in the high 11's @120-121 with DR's. I will be taking it out this year sometime to see what it will run.

wow great times man.....I didn't realize cobra's were that fast in basically stock form....especially without some kind of suspension upgrade to help that famous wheel hop. Great runs!

thanks, as soon as I figure out how to take a clear picture of the timeslips I'll post them. It was my first time at the track with the cobra, I didn't run this the first run, the first run was a 12.91@114, it took most of the night to run the 12.38, and to get the 60's down. Before this run the best 60 was a 2.1.
