Painting the Hood???

Painting the Hood???
Well I've been thinking of having the hood painted.Have it DSG with the Vent's not painted and left CF.Also I'm thinking of having the mirror's painted DSG too.Also considering having the rear painted like Mahnotinknee's.
What do you all think???

Paint it dude.
That carbon fiber crap looks hokey as ****. seriously, if you want a CF hood cause of the weight thats cool, but leaving it looking like carbon fiber is as ricey as altezza's.
Might as well put some NAWZ stickers on it.
Carbon Fiber is good for weight reduction, but should not be seen.

I hate CF on other colors but it looks really sweet on your car. That has always been my favorite part of your car so I say leave it.
I think the back would look good painted like mine but not the plastic. I got mine painted because the plastic looked cheap even though it is like $165 lol.
I say leave the mirrors alone on your car. I think they break it up just right since your car is so dark. I think painted will look to run together.
So basically just paint the back lol

this is my thought. leave the hood or paint it, both will look awesome. if you want your mirrors to be dsg get the cobra mirrors and paint them. im just not a big fan of painting the stock ones, i like the black contrast that the stock ones have going on. and if you want to paint the rear, it would look sweet

lance, for the $200+ you'd spend on painting the hood, get a (blank)-in MGW shifter. You have everything else(aside from LT's) so just get the dang shifter!!!
And then get LT's!! You will hardly notice a difference with the hood painted, it already blends nicely
