I wnet to a MWR sponsored car show last month that had free dyno pulls. I have no idea what type of dyno it was. The guys running it spoke limited English and were not great with dyno's on automatics. The most they could tell me was that it pulled 323 in 3rd. My friends here that are German aren't all that car savy to they weren't able to help me much.

If you can tell by looking at the numbers what that can possibly be it would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure if I have bragging rights :o. The car only has CAI and tune right now.

I have googled the terms but I really don't know how they correlate with a dyno.

R3d?

238 kW = 319 rwhp @ 6529 rpm

407 Nm = 300 ft lbs tq @ 4548 rpm

Is that all you wanted to know?

Maybe, I'm completely new to dyno numbers and the German print out with no one to explain it really threw me off. I thought I had lost it but my kids found it in the gloves box and I figured some one here could tell me what it meant. Thanks.

That's better than stock numbers for your year! That's actually close to the crank horsepower they come with.

You're welcome, and those are pretty decent numbers for just a cai and tune.

Should of been done in 4th gear not 3rd. That's why the numbers are higher then usual. they weren't nice with the auto because it doesn't like to stay in the gear you want. I can see where the car shifted on the dyno sheet.

from the graphs it's looking like a typical S197 3v motor with a couple minor mods and a tune. In typical S197 form it's a kinda laggy combo and doesn't really show its stuff till you start to get up the RPM band a bit. 4.10's and a minor re-tune should make that a really fast ride.
